Effective 6/15, visitors and residents traveling from out-of-state to Kauai are subject to a 10-day quarantine, unless granted an exception through the State of Hawaii Safe Travels program. Exceptions to the 10-day quarantine may be obtained with a negative pre-travel test, or a vaccine record that shows at least one dose having been received in the State of Hawaii, or by participating in the Kauai Resort Bubble program.

Transpacific travelers who have recently recovered from COVID-19 may also be eligible to be exempt from the travel quarantine. More information can be found at:
