The main home, Hale Koolau, is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom getaway drenched in natural light and boasts an expansive, wraparound lanai, perfect for indoor/outdoor living. The master bedroom has a California King-size bed and en suite bathroom with a stone shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The large, third bedroom aka the bunk room is separate from the main house and can sleep up to nine guests and has an attached bathroom.
Hale Koolau's outdoor shower refreshes you after a day of hiking the cliffs of the Na Pali coast or an afternoon of swimming in the blue Pacific Ocean. Relax on the lanai, where views of emerald green mountains constantly remind you of the appeal of island life. Soak in the newly added hot tub after a day of play.

Absolutely Incredible!
by SharonFrom our day of arrival with incredibly clear directions to find the rental homes. We stayed in both the main house and tree house. To our initial shock and awe of what all these homes on this property had to offer, each and every one of us were blown away. With 2 families traveling together that included 6 boys and 3 girls between the two of our families, this property couldn’t have been better. Everyone had a comfortable bed to sleep in. Everything was clean and everything we could have ever asked for was provided. The abundance of beds and multiple indoor living spaces as well as even more outdoor living space on multiple levels of the homes made everyone feel comfortable. With 13 of us we never once felt like we were on top of each other. Each room had its own air conditioning unit which was incredible as well. They also on top of abundant living spaces and an even better location, it was only a short few minute walk to an incredible beach that seemed to go on forever! They provided all linens, towels, beach towels, a beach wagon, plenty of boogie boards, some snorkel gear, beach chairs and beach umbrellas for our use. As well as a great indoor and outdoor games selection. Never did we think we’d need a hot tub in Hawaii but the weather was quite rainy in the evenings so once we got back to the home the hot tub was a welcome blessing. It also had more than enough kitchen things and supplies and an incredibly well stocked pantry - more so than any other home we’ve ever stayed in. The many follow up texts and emails to check in on us throughout the week to make sure everything was to our satisfaction was above and beyond as well. We can’t wait to go back someday.

by Gary D.My family and I stayed at the Hale Ko'olau Estate in Hanalei, Kauai. The Estate sits on a gated, peaceful and private piece of land very close to the North Shore coastline. It is beautifully landscaped front to back, with a feeling of lushness as tall trees/vines/palm trees embrace the perimeter of the 2 homes. The property consists of 2 immaculate homes: the larger front main house filled with 2 sizable comfortable bedrooms, a full kitchen and dining area, a large living room with a terrace that wraps around the entire house (a huge dining area outside, too), several bathrooms PLUS a HUGE and multi-bedded bunkhouse that adjoins the main house (3 steps away from front door of front house), with its own lockable door, and is a separate area with 8 separate beds (4 bunks), and a beautiful updated bathroom. High ceilings, fans, couches and chairs complete the bunk room. This would be great for tweens, teens and young adults, and just a hangout place slightly separated from the 2 houses. Included amenities are an immaculate hot tub, beach chairs, a beach cart, outdoor shower, board games, full set of pristine plates, cutlery, glasses, pans, and pantry items. Also, a/c throughout, washers, dryers, fridge, microwave and toaster ovens, and much more.
More....upper house, or "treehouse". Much LARGER than I expected. All amenities stated above. 1 large bedroom with king size bed, hallway, large kitchen, dining area and living room. I found the large windows, which are plentiful, so very relaxing to gaze out of. They are mostly wood slat shades that are easily adjusted, with a screen behind each. It rained a couple of hours every few days, and nothing came into the home. We felt SAFE, relaxed and rejuvenated each day. We loved our stay here, and would highly recommend to anyone.

by KristenWe had 3 weeks in Kauai as an extended family of 11. Our first week was spent in Princeville and our last 2 weeks at this lovely rental home. We really liked the beach town feel and how remote it felt. The pace was nice and slow…very much our speed. We had comfortable beds, many towels, and most of what we needed in the kitchen. The one hitch we had was a broken bbq. It was quickly replaced once we told management. Thank you! We spent many hours on the deck enjoying the beautiful view.
