Great house for a group or big family

Excellent location!

It was great place to stay at. Host was very responsive when we had an issue with BBQ. Was replaced right away. Lots of towels, and dishes. Walking distance to grocery store and lots of walking paths. Would highly reccomend staying here. Very clean upon arrival.

Absolutely Ideal

We have no complaints. Fabulous landscaping; homey yet tropical feel to the interior; comfy beds; magical views. The rental company communicated very well when needed. In fact, when the toaster broke, they delivered a new one on the same day. That’s important when your feeding four growing boys on vacation! I would return in a heartbeat... if I could.

Beautiful accommodation with great care taken in the materials (hardwood floor, ceiling) and decorations. There were only 2 of us, and it was awesome. The place sleeps 6 comfortably, and has a few additional beds on top. Highly recommended.

A great location and very spacious

A great location and a very spacious. When booking keep in mind there are a lot of shared bedrooms. This space would be good for 4-5 Adults and 4-5 children, not necessarily a group of 8-9 adults. Other than that everything was amazing. The whole house was very neat and organized and if there was anything you think you needed it was already there. (I.e blender, toaster, cups, plates, cutting board, coffee maker, foil, laundry detergent, coolers, body boards, beach towels). This was extremely convenient! Our whole group really enjoyed this space and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful, large house perfect as a base for a exploring Kauai

Our group of two families had a wonderful stay at the Lola Hale property. It's the perfect layout with all the bedrooms located on the downstairs level, and a large, gathering space upstairs for watching movies, dining at the communal table, or sitting on the deck. We had four teenagers in our group, and each was able to have their own bed, while the adult couples had private rooms, too. There are a few decks around the outside of the house, which offer options for escaping your group when you need to. We loved the style of the upstairs with the high ceilings and the views out the back of the house were lovely. You are close to neighbors, but it does feel very private, and the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet at night. Also, you can walk five minutes to the nearby shopping center for groceries, coffee, or take-away meals as needed. The property management company was very easy to work with. Thanks for providing a wonderful rental experience!

It fit our family perfectly

There were eight of us and one little one who loved the top bunk! What a spacious and well-appointed home. All the necessities and comfort for a home base while staying in Kauai. The jacuzzi tub and the whole house A/C system were valuable in our choosing this home. We would definitely rent from Makana Properties again! Mahalo!

Excellent property

Excellent property. We were a group of 10 and this property was very spacious and comfortable. Very close to Foodland and other decent restaurants.
