Perfect for our family of 4

I recently stayed Pali Ke Kua #141 4/5/2025-4/12/2025 with my family of 4, two of which are kids ages 5 and 8. It was very comfortable for the 4 of us and opened to a big grass field for my kids to run around on. The unit was properly equipped with great amenities and even included everything we needed for the daily beach trips - Ice Chest, beach chairs, plenty of towels, beach umbrellas (also great when it rains on the beach) and boogie boards. This unit is also close walking distance to a Pizza restaurant and the pool which was great! If we are fortunate enough to go back to Kauai, we would definitely be looking at this spot again.

Everything you could possibly need on vacation

This was the such a perfect spot for our family of 5. We have 3 little kids and being on the ground floor was great for them to be able to go outside and run around. When I say this property has everything you could possibly need, I mean it. 4 beach chairs, plenty of beach towels, multiple coolers and umbrellas, sand toys. We could have used a wagon but those are easy to rent. The only thing I would note is that since it\'s on the ground floor you can hear the people above you walking around at all hours and it\'s pretty loud, but if you put on some headphones you should be able to block it out. I would definitely stay here again.

Kauai January ‘25

I wanted to add to my previous review that the condo was well equipped with beach furniture, beach towels, an insulated cooler, ice packs, multiple house fans, the kitchen was well stocked with all sorts of dishes and various spices. We used the cooler for lunches on various beaches we visited. Makana emailed a link to their very informative app-it’s extremely useful. Use it before you go to make the trip trouble-free. We had a great 7 night vacation. Thanks!

Everything with the condo was great. Excellent communication with the management company, Makana, before, during and end of trip.

Upon arrival, the condo was clean and lights were on (we got there at night) as Makana told us in an earlier email. The kitchen was also well stocked.

Great Stay in Princeville

We had a wonderful time in Pali Ke Kua. The condo was very clean, with nice big windows to let the sun in, and a beautiful view of the ocean. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beach was a short walking distance from the condo.

Great place for a 2nd honeymoon (w/ yr adult kids)!

Really appreciated getting such detailed info ahead of time and a very easy check in. We didn’t need any help - everything was in great working order and very clean. Great place to stay!

We were pleasantly surprised how central the property is in Princeville. A short drive to the market and nearby restaurants. The community is very quiet and easy to find. The unit is well appointed not far from parking and has nearly everything you need. We were thrilled to have use of beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, and a cooler! There is no air conditioning but the ocean breeze and over head fans were all we needed for our stay in August. Hanalei is a 15-20 minute drive away. Tunnels Beach was magnificent ! All in all we enjoyed this stay and found the property very clean! An extra unexpected bonus was having access to a concierge which was a huge help making reservations and navigating our stay!!

Lovely Rental

This is a great, clean, well appointed unit. The washer, however, looks unsightly and should be replaced. It was quite alarming to see all the rust and damage.

Great location and lovely property

We really enjoyed our 4-night stay in Pali Ke Kua! Beds were comfy and our two boys (ages 12 and 15) appreciated having separate beds in their room. The unit was nicely appointed and very comfortable - we enjoyed the lanais and the pool, as well as the close proximity to Hanalei and Princeville shopping area. We live on Oahu and will plan to rent this unit again when we're back on the North Shore of Kauai. Mahalo nui for a great stay!

A little piece of Paradise

The property was incredible with great views all around. The condo was very clean and we enjoyed the breakfast nook which gave us a nice ocean view. Overall, the entire vacation was wonderful. If I could change any one thing it would be upgrading the furniture a bit. The double bed mattresses aren’t as comfortable as hotel stays. Nonetheless, we had an amazing time and the staff was very responsive and professional.

Awesome Rental

We had a fantastic stay. The rental is beautiful with 2 lovely porches, sea views, cool spacious bedrooms and bathrooms and a well stocked kitchen. Everything was clean and in great condition. The rental agency was very well organized and the whole process was very easy. We also loved the pool and nearby snorkeling beaches.

Perfect Rental

Wonderful Condo

My family of five stayed at this beautiful condo in March 2020. We ended up spending a lot of time inside the condo as there were flash flood warning‘s, severe thunderstorm mornings, and even a tornado warning. It was very nice having three separate TVs where we all have space to watch something he wanted to. The grounds are very nice and we were lucky enough to see a beautiful sunset from the grounds of the condo. There is also a nice paved trail that leads down to a beach. The condo was equipped with everything you needed Including beach chairs and toys and boogie boards. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Wonderful with only a couple issues

Overall the stay was fantastic and the management company was easy to work with. The location is amazing and convenient. There were two issues that I think need to be addressed for the enjoyment of future guests. The TV's were unusable in the 2 bed bedroom and in the living room. We had two of the guests that are very tech savvy and they could not get the TVs to work other than the main bedroom (King Bed BR). The other issue was the electric grill outside. It was also unusable because it would trip the electric outlet, apparently drawing too much wattage. Other than those issued our stay was amazing and we would stay again. Thank you!

Please note we're happy to have a property manager assist with any troubles and even take care of repairs or replacements as soon as we hear about them. We're only a phone call or email away! Since receiving your review we've scheduled an electrician to resolve the electric/BBQ problem. We also do a pre-check prior to each arrival that includes a test of the TVs and cable to ensure everything is properly working. Kauai Winter Escape

Wonderful Place on Kauai

Fantastic Place in a Beautiful Location

We absolutely loved our stay at Pali Ke Kua, Unit 141! My husband and I just enjoyed 3 magical weeks in Kauai and Unit 141 was the perfect place for us. The unit came equipped with everything we needed to have a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. We appreciated having a lower unit that allowed us to walk right out the back door to immediately take in the ocean views. Having the nenes come to visit every morning was an added bonus. The unit is close to the pool and within walking distance of several places to enjoy a really nice meal or cocktail. Having a washing machine and dryer on site was also really convenient. We look forward to being able to come back and rent unit 141 again if it is available.
