This was a great condo

This was a great condo - very convenient and good value. It was large and very clean. There was AC in the master bedroom and living room (but not the other two bedrooms). It was on the side of Princeville close to Hanalei, so very easy to get in and out of town for good food. Of course, it's Princeville so it's a development, but was pretty affordable and would definitely stay here again. I worked here for the week and the wifi was strong and there is a good desk setup in the master bedroom. Only downside - the power went out a few times and when I reached out to the management company, I didn't hear back before it came back on. I don't know how common that is!

Everything in the condo was perfect

Everything in the condo was perfect. Two primary suites, and third bedroom locations allowed privacy for everyone. The beach chairs, umbrella, beach toys and wagon were an added bonus. Everything in the condo was high quality. The management team provided excellent communications and responded to questions quickly. Wish they managed condo's on the mainland because they are that good.

Spacious condo in a great location

My family of 4 had a great week on Kauai at this rental. There was more than enough space and everything was clean. Plus having beach equipment and easy parking. Would have liked a cutting board and a guidebook speific to the unit. Other than that this rental property was great.

Excellent Stay

We loved our stay in Kauai and would absolutely stay here again. The check-in process was easy and the communication was excellent. The tsunami warning was issued on our 2nd day there and we wanted to confirm we were in a safe zone (we were!) and they were quick to answer our email and let us know information. Also we were really impressed with all that was provided for our stay. So many places we’ve stayed don’t have enough utensils, pots/pans, etc but this kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals and to clean up afterward. They provided enough bath towels and beach towels and linens, and even paper products like paper towels and toilet paper. There is only AC in the living area and primary bedroom but there are lots of oscillating fans available and those worked well enough to keep the house cool enough even though it was pretty warm weather during our stay. We loved having the umbrellas and beach chairs and boogie boards to use, too! Such a great time and wonderful memories for our family of 5!

Excellent North Shore Condo

We have come to Kauai for over 20 years consistently, and you really don't see too many condos with this amount of space in Princeville. It was perfect for our family of 4 and the entire downstairs is essentially a master bedroom suite (very comfortable bed). The unit has been redone somewhat recently, and the hardwood floors and all finishes are excellent. The mountain views from the lanai are wonderful and the location of the condo is absolutely ideal. As a golfer, I was able to walk to the Makai course for my rounds. Do yourself a favor and rent this awesome condo!

In the Sky

Another beautiful and wonderful vacation in Villa#27. My girlfriends and I stayed in this property April of 2024 and we returned again with our husbands this time. We all really enjoyed the gorgeous views in the morning of the mountains with our cup of coffee. There is so much space that no one feels like they are on top of each which makes for the most comfortable stay. Plenty of room of entertaining and lounging. Again the house was fully equipped with everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Will definitely be back again most likely next year. ����

We had the most incredible stay at this beautiful condo! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the breathtaking views—truly picture-perfect. My fisrt time to Kauai and had an amazing experience!

I can’t say enough about my stay at this condo. It has the most spectacular views from every window and lanai! You could hear the ocean crashing, birds singing all looking out towards the trees and mountains. The condo had comfortable furnishings and a well stocked kitchen. They provided beach chairs, towels and snorkel gear. Walk out the front door and there are walking paths galore.Also, great email communication with Makana properties with very clear instructions made staying there a breeze. I highly recommend staying here. What a peaceful place to stay. I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful Property

This property is beautiful and despite some of the features being a bit older (ie bathrooms) there is such care taken and so many great details throughout. For example, when we arrived lights were on, fans were on, there were fresh flowers on the table and Hawaiian music playing softly. My teen actually walked in and said, “what is this heavenly music?” There were also many amenities like beach towels and chairs and shampoo and conditioner and just little touches around the house that it felt like a real home and not a rental. I’d love to stay here again.

Condo was perfect

This condo was PERFECT. We loved the three different levels having a room and a bathroom each. Two of the bedrooms had beautiful views to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Quiet and peaceful area, minus the occasional rooster but that was expected. Kitchen was stocked and exceeded our needs. We enjoyed the pool. We were looked forward to the spa but it was closed while we were there. Overall would stay in the exact same location if/when we come back for vacation!

The property was very clean with a lot of extras. Views of the mountains with beautiful waterfalls from the lanais. Everything was comfortable and we experienced no problems.

Celebratory vacation

We came to Kauai to celebrate many things--25 years of marriage, two graduations, and my 50th birthday! The condo is beautiful and the neighborhood is quite peaceful. We were a little shocked to be awakened by a rooster but after the first day, it didn't phase us. We loved having access to a washer and dryer and the accommodations offered beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs which came in handy. However, we only made it once to the beach as it rained quite a bit during our stay. We would definitely look into staying here again!

Sooo many amenities

Aloha, We have stayed in many Airbnbs all around the world, but this was by far the best one yet. The house is just as pictured from the photos, but the one thing they don’t highlight enough is the many conveniences and amenities this house has. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities as well as quality hand and dish soap, plenty of dishwashing pods, paper towels, garbage bags, ziplock bags. The laundry room downstairs has a full washer and dryer along with full supply of laundry detergent. All the bathrooms had more than plenty of bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Also provided bath soap (local malie brand), shampoo and conditioner should you forget your own. There is also full access to the garage with an opener to park the car (which really comes in handed) and has everything needed for the beach. The only thing to be noted is the bedroom off the main floor of the house does not have a Mountain View and the bathroom is not en-suite. Other than that beautiful!?

Perfect - would definitely stay here again

Stunning mountain view. Comfortable beds and really well stocked kitchen with very good selection of pots and pans etc. Lots of room and very nicely decorated. 10 mins from the beach and we loved exploring North Kauai from here.

Princeville Gem!

This home will instantly make you feel at home, while still carrying the island vibe providing all the necessities you need as well as some nice upgrades throughout. It even includes all the essentials for the beach and rain! This beautiful home is very clean and spacious and has gorgeous views of the mountains while relaxing on the patio deck. This home is located in a gated community and is in a very peaceful area. The communication and processes for renting this home from Makana Properties was exceptional. This was our second time renting this home!

Delightful 10 days on Kauai

Fabulous. Everything we needed to have a great island vacation. Beach towels and beach toys included. Good rental for a golfer since this property is very close to the clubhouse.

Beautiful Stay in Princeville

My friend and I had a beautiful 4 night stay at our Makana Kauai rental. The gated neighborhood was beautifully kept, felt very safe and was relaxing and peaceful. The home was clean, spacious and met all of our needs weather adventuring out for the day at the beach or relaxing for an evening at home to watch sunset from the balcony with breathtaking views of the lush mountains. The property was perfectly situated with short drives to Princeville village and Hanalei town. Highly recommend this property!

A Beautiful Kauai Gem!

This home is warm and inviting and is a wonderful Princeville gem! It sits in a beautiful and peaceful area that offers a gorgeous view of the mountains and offers the most relaxing view from the patio deck. This home doesn’t disappoint and will instantly make you feel at home, while still carrying the island vibe while providing all the necessities you’ll need as well as some nice upgrades throughout. It even included all the essentials for the beach and rain. The communication and processes for renting this home were top notch from Makana Properties which made our trip easy to navigate thru. This beautiful resort home is located within a gated community and was very clean and spacious and is located in the perfect spot for exploring the North Shore and getting to anywhere in Kauai that you would want to go. We would highly recommend and we will definitely be back in the future.

Most Unforgetable Resort Villas

I have stayed many condos in Princeville, but it was the best. The luxurious rattan sofa, various kitchenware, and bed were perfect and luxurious. Air-conditioning is provided in the living room and master bedroom, so we could enjoy a comfortable rest even on a hot day. It is located a little higher, so the view of the mountain every morning and evening MUST be one of the best on earth. It is an independent structure where two families can maintain each other's privacy. It is a dream resort townhouse that you want to come back to in the near future.

Beautiful and Peaceful stay in Kauai

Unit 27 is fantastic! We’ve stayed at dozens of rental properties over the years, and this is a rare find that is bigger and prettier than the pictures make it seem. These condos are very high quality, and in the prefect spot for exploring the North Shore. The balcony views of the mountains are gorgeous, and since the complex is slightly off the main Princeville track, it is much quieter and peaceful.

Everything was in order, and getting in was a breeze. The A/C in the master and living room was great, and they provide ample fans for the other two rooms. Beach equipment was in great shape and we used it often. One request would be to convert the sleeper sofa into a twin bed or bunk bed, but our 13 year old slept on the pullout without a single complaint.

If you have a chance to book this condo - do it.

Birthday/Anniversary trip 2020

I am a Leap Year Day baby and celebrated my “12th” birthday this year. My husband and I also celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary last November. Our trip was a combination celebration! We got married on kauai in 1994. This trip was magical for us! The condo was absolutely perfect! It was so great to be able to shop and meal prep for the week. It was so clean and comfortable. We loved all the birds that would visit us on the porch. “Stumpy” was our favorite red headed bird who had a bad leg. The only problem we had was that the smoke detector alarm was going off...we all know how annoying that is. We tried to fix it ourselves but they were too high and we had no ladder. Thankfully they helped us right away! I would highly recommend this place! Also, the pool and hot tub were amazing!

Perfect Vacation Home on Kauai

This was my second stay at this amazing townhouse. The house is very spacious and perfectly laid out for both privacy and togetherness of your party. It is appointed and decorated to the nines. The furniture, decor, bedding, linens etc. are first rate, stylish and incredibly comfortable. The location is terrific, with a spectacular mountain view that I woke up to every morning, and close to so many beautiful beaches and things to do and see. I'm already planning my next visit.
