The Napali Coast can be viewed by air, on foot or, best of all, by sea. Looking up the vast cliffs from sea level, you gain a new appreciation for the beauty and ruggedness of this iconic coast. Many tours also offer spectacular snorkeling options with their tours, providing the gear needed. You also have a good chance to see dolphins, sea turtles (when snorkeling) and other marine life in season.
- Holo Holo Charters is the only tour company offering daily trips to Niihau, the forbidden island. It also offers several options for viewing Napali Coast with their fleet of a long and wide power cat, sleek catamaran and two comfortable rigid-hull inflatable boats. Tours range from 2-7 hours, and some include snorkeling options.
- Capt Andy’s passion is providing epic tours, ever since he navigated the Panama Canal to bring to 65 foot Star Class Yachts to Kaua’i. They offer several adventures on star class yachts, sailing catamarans and 24’ rigid hull inflatable rafts. Whether you’re looking for a romantic sunset sail, an adventurous cave exploration by raft, or anything in between Capt. Andy’s has you covered.
- Napali Coast Tours offers departures from either side of the Napali coast. Operating out of both Kekaha and Hanalei, they offer 4 hour sightseeing and snorkeling tours. The Hanalei location also offers a 2 hour sightseeing only tour. Their vessels carry a maximum of 13 passengers and were built on Kaua’i specifically for touring the Napali Coast.
- Blue Dolphin Charters operates the two largest motor sailing catamarans on Kaua’i and offers one of the widest arrays of tour options. In addition to sailing, snorkeling and rigid hull raft adventures, Blue Dolphin Charters also provides a land and air option and a sport fishing tour. Whale watching is offered from November to March.
